Madelina Enriquez

Educational and Operational Director

MSED; Professional Certificate in Early Childhood Education

I have been an early childhood educator for over ten years. Prior to being an administrator at Learning Ladder Day Care Center, I served as a head teacher in a private for-profit Early Childhood Center located in the South Bronx. My interests include promoting diversity in education and implementing an integrated early childhood curriculum. I am a continuous learner and having completed my degree in Literacy and Early Childhood Education, I continue to attend conferences and workshops throughout the tri-state area. Working at Learning Ladder Day Care Center has helped me positively impact the lives of the children we serve and has provided me with the opportunity to grow as an educator. Becoming the Educational Director of Learning Ladder Day Care Center is a fantastic job for me. It incorporates all the things that I love best about teaching: hands-on interactions with students, I get to express my philosophy of a whole child approach to teaching, partnering with families and the community and the ability to mentor and guide fellow teachers.
