Meet Our Directors

Carlos A. Aponte joined AllCare on April 22, 2013. He has distinguished himself in the fields of elementary and adult education, physical and mental health services and human resources management. Throughout his career, he has focused on strengthening and developing the individuals, families, staff and organizations he has worked with.

As a senior executive, he has headed educational institutions such as charter schools, civil service management development institutes and corporate skills training centers. In the health field, he has been a primary health care provider, family and individual counselor and team developer in hospital settings. His passion to develop healthy organizations comes from his commitment to make sure the clients, students, teachers and staff he works with have the proper tools to succeed and transform lives.

Mr. Aponte’s educational background and experience will aid the organization in reaching its strategic Vision. He has earned several degrees which include: Ed.M. & A.B.D., Harvard Graduate School; M.A., Clinical Psychology, F.C.S.A. University in Cayey, Puerto Rico; and B.S., Health Sciences, S.U.N.Y., Stony Brook, New York.

A Bronx Native, Mr. Aponte looks forward to provide quality services to the children and individuals with disabilities seeking the support they need throughout the Bronx and NYC. His leadership in managing the operations of Medicaid Service Coordination Program and the Learning Ladder Day Care Center will allow him to accomplish this.

I am a early childhood professional with over eighteen years successfully working with young children and their families to support their development and learning. I am NYS Certified General and Special Education teacher and also hold a School Building Leader Certification. .

As part of my professional and personal journey, I support aspiring teachers and early childhood professionals to plan and reach their career and professional goals  through coaching and mentoring.

I grateful to continue serving and working in a career and job that I love.
